Under the direction of artists and teachers, the painting school runs courses for children from the age of four and young people up to the high school diploma. The children and young people are introduced to the variety of artistic expression possibilities through a differentiated range of different motifs and techniques. They work according to their inclinations, interests and abilities. No goals have to be achieved. The children and young people's own activities promote individual visual language, lead to practical skills and help to view and understand works of art. Projects planned together create contacts and promote social behavior within the group.

▷ Exhibition projects and project presentations with accompanying and participatory programme for schools, families, friends in the LUDWIGGALERIE Schloss Oberhausen, Artothek or in the rooms of cultural partners

▷ Painting students invite you to the changing exhibitions of the LUDWIGGALERIE and take part in the educational program with friends. They guide a young audience through the exhibition, for example at the ExtraSchicht

▷ Culture Backpack: Development and implementation of culture backpack offers for children and young people aged 10 - 14 years: children's studio, art groups or workshops for the open all-day program at the Luisenschule, Marienschule, Falkensteinschule, and the Oranienstraße school.

▷ Conducting art competitions, including international ones, for children and students of all ages.

▷ Teacher training courses on various artistic working techniques (e.g. creative printing techniques, screen printing, drypoint etching, ...) in the rooms of the painting school, Grevenstraße 36, 46045 Oberhausen.

▷ Culture makes school: e.g. printing workshop with exhibition in the Helios clinic with the special school “Glück Auf Schule”

▷ Participation in the cooperation workshops and coaching sessions of the Federal Association of Youth Art Schools NRW with the special school “Glück Auf Schule”

▷ Cooperations with family centers, church educational institutions, Oberhausen women's shelter, Christ Church, AWO, VHS, JUNGE VHS and the youth art school

Cooperation with the German Red Cross DRK – Jolanda Kuci accompanies a fixed group to the painting school, including many children and young people of refugees.
